Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ghani Visited U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy, UET Peshawar

Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ghani and Deputy Speaker Mehmood Jan visited U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E), University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar.
Upon their visit, Speaker KP Assembly was briefed by Pro-Vice Chancellor UET Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Noor Muhammad on the role of USPCAS-E and its achievements so far in the field of energy. He added that, the management and faculty of UET Peshawar is committed to boost the applied research to international standards at USPCAS-E. The briefing session also included discussion on challenges of energy sector and finding sustainable indigenous solutions.
Dean of Engineering Dr IRfan Mufty and Founding Director of USPCAS-E, Dr. Najeeb Ullah gave a complete circuit of the State of the Art Research Laboratories to Speaker Provencial Assembly KP. He added, USPCAS-E is carrying out research work in the field of renewable energy, thermal systems engineering, energy policy and electrical engineering system, and has been declared Think Tank for energy related issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Speaking at the occasion, Speaker Provencial Assembly KP Mushtaq Ghani applauded the work of USPCAS-E and the efforts of USAID for addressing the challenges of energy sector through specialized higher education institutes. He added, since Education and Energy sector is in dire need of government attention and for hooking up the challenge, KP government is adamant on improving these sectors and will let no stone unturned in assisting the efforts made for the betterment of USPCAS-E and any such institute.
