Pakistan successfully test fire short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile Nasr (24.01.19)

Pakistan today successfully conducted training launch of short range surface to surface ballistic missile “Nasr” to enhance the operational efficiency of Army Strategic Forces Command besides re-validating the desired technical parameters.

This training exercise involved launching of quad salvo for desired effects. Nasr is a high precision, shoot and scoot Weapon System with the ability of in-flight maneuverability.

This Weapon System has augmented Full Spectrum Deterrence posture remaining within the precincts of policy of Credible Minimum Deterrence, against prevailing and evolving threat spectrum more effectively including enemy’s ballistic missile defence and other Air Defence Systems.

The launch was witnessed by General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Director General Strategic Plans Division, Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, Chairman NESCOM, senior officers from the Army Strategic Forces Command, scientists and engineers of strategic organizations.

Chairman JCS Committee appreciated the standard of training and operational preparedness of Army Strategic Forces Command. He also congratulated the scientists and engineers on developing this sophisticated Weapon System to enhance Pakistan’s deterrence capability. He expressed his complete confidence in effective command, control and security of all strategic assets and measures being taken to augment these aspects.

President and Prime Minister of Pakistan and Services Chiefs have also congratulated on successful conduct of the training launch.

پاکستان نے آج کم فاصلے پر زمین سے زمین پر مار کرنے والے بیلسٹک میزائل نصر کا کامیاب تجربہ کیا جس سے مسلح افواج کی تذویراتی کمان کی استعداد کار اور تکنیکی مہارت میں اضافہ ہوگا۔تجربے کی تربیتی مشق میں مطلوبہ اثرات کے حامل Quad Salvoکا تجربہ بھی کیا گیا۔جوائنٹ چیفس آف سٹاف کمیٹی کے چیئرمین جنرل زبیر محمود حیات تذویراتی منصوبہ بندی ڈویژن کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل، پاک فوج کی تذویراتی فورسز کی کمان کے کمانڈر، پاک فوج کے اعلی افسران اور تذویراتی اداروں کے سائنسدان اور انجینئر اس موقع پر موجود تھے۔جنرل زبیر محمود حیات نے فوج کی تذویراتی فورسز کی کمان کی تربیت کے معیار اور تیاری کو سراہا۔انہوں نے پاکستان کی دفاعی صلاحیت بڑھانے کیلئے ہتھیاروں کایہ نظام تیار کرنے پر سائنسدانوں اور انجینئروں کو بھی مبارکباد دی۔صدر، وزیراعظم اور مسلح افواج کے سربراہان نے بھی اس کامیاب تجربے پر مبارکباد دی۔نصر اعلی معیار کا مار کرنے والا میزائل ہے۔میزائل کے اس نظام سے دشمن کے بیلسٹک میزائل اور دوسرے فضائی دفاعی نظام سے درپیش خطرات کے خلاف مسلح افواج کی کم سے کم دفاعی استعداد کار میں اضافہ ہوگیا ہے
