سید صمصمام بخاری نے کہا کہ سانحہ ساہیوال غیر ذمہ داری کی وجہ سے پیش آیا جو کہ ناقابلِ معافی ہے ، پنجاب پولیس کی اصلاح کیلئے پی ٹی آئی کو ریفارمز لانے ہونگے،اور اپوزیشن کو اس سانحہ کو سیاسی رنگ دینے سے گُریز کرنا چاہیے

Syed Samsam Bukhari gave a poignant speech about the Sahiwal incident in Punjab Assembly.

“This was an act of brutality,” he told his fellow parliamentarians, adding that, “this was negligence which cannot be forgiven.”

Bukhari admitted, with a heavy heart, that Punjab is “a police state,” and that PTI must take due measures to reform the state of Punjab police.

Bukhari praised the swift action taken by the government following the tragic incident, noting that such bold measures were not taken under any previous governments. He also urged the opposition to refrain from politicising the issue, and to only focus on reforms.
