Minister for National Health Services Aamir Mehmood Kiani Short Talk after Signing Ceremony between MoNHS and State Life of Pakistan regarding Sehat Sahulat Programme Islamabad (30.01.19)

Federal government has renamed the Prime Minister’s National Health Programme (PMNHP) as “Sehat Sahulat Programme.

The ‘Health Card’ has also been renamed ‘Sehat Insaf Card’.

Minister for National Health Services Aamir Mahmood Kiyani Wednesday said the scope of Sehat Sahulat Programme has been extended to the whole country. He said Sehat Insaf Cards will give the facility of free medical treatment to people living below the poverty line.
He expressed these views while addressing a signing MoU ceremony of Ministry of National Health Services and State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan for implementation of Sehat Sahulat Programme in all districts of the country.
He said the package of the card has been enhanced to 0.72 million rupee. Fifteen million families or 90 million people will benefit from treatment under the scheme and government is working day and night to improve the health sector.
