Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi held a meeting with his Omani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi in Muscat.
They discussed bilateral ties, latest situation of the region and international issues.
Both sides reviewed the ways to increase mutual cooperation in various sectors.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi dilated upon the policy of Prime Minister of Pakistan for creating exemplary relations with the neighboring countries.
He said Senate Friendship Group will be made active to increase people to people contacts between both the countries.
The two Foreign Ministers also held talks at delegation level.
Foreign Minster Shah Mehmood Qureshi invited his Omani counterpart to visit Pakistan.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is leading a 12-member delegation of technical experts representing sectors of bilateral cooperation falling under the purview of Joint Commission whose 7th Session will be co-chaired by the two Foreign Ministers tomorrow followed by signing ceremony of bilateral Accords.
پاکستا ن اور اومان نے دونوں ملکوں کے درمیان دوطرفہ تعلقات میں مثبت پیشرفت پر اطمینان ظاہر کیا ہے۔ان خیالات کا اظہار بدھ کے روز مسقط میں وزیرخارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی اور اومان کے وزیر خارجہ یوسف الاوی کے درمیان ملاقات میں کیا گیا۔ فریقین نے تعلقات کے مختلف پہلوئوں سمیت دوطرفہ تذویراتی مشاورت پر اور خطے کی صورتحال پر تفصیلی بات چیت کی۔پاکستان کے وزیر خارجہ نے اپنے ہم منصب کو وزیراعظم عمران خان کی زیر قیادت نئی منتخب حکومت کے ویژن اور اومانی باشندوں کی آمد پر ویزہ کی مشترکہ پالیسی کے بارے میں بھی بتایا جس سے لوگوں کے تبادلے، سیاحت اور کاروباری مواقع کو فروغ ملے گا۔انہوں نے پاکستانی کاروباری افراد کے لئے بھی یکساں سہولتوں کی فراہمی کی درخواست کی۔انہوں نے مسقط میں ساتویں مشترکہ وزارتی کمیشن کیلئے شاندار انتظامات کو سراہا جس کی وزرائے خارجہ نے پہلے بار مشترکہ صدارت کی۔وزیرخارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی نے وزیراعظم عمران خان کی جانب سے اومان کے سلطان قابوس کو نیک خواہشات کا پیغام دیا اور ان کی دانشمندانہ اور غیر معمولی قیادت کے پانچ عشروں کی تعریف کی اور ملک میں دو لاکھ 72 ہزار پاکستانیوں کی موجودگی کو سراہا۔
