He categorically said that the polite treatment he received from Pakistani Armed forces, starting from the captain who rescued him to the top management has been highly impressive. He also stated that he expects his armed forces to treat officials from other countries with same respect and dignity. In response to specific questions such as his whereabouts in India, which aircraft he was flying and what exactly was his mission; Wing Commander Abhinayat politely refused to share the information. His limitations in terms of responding to the questions were respected.
