Government convenes meeting of parliamentary parties conference on March 28 for consultation of National Action Plan (18.03.19)\n#PTI #ShahMahmoodQureshi #NAP \n\nThe government has convened a meeting of parliamentary parties on 28th of this month to hold consultation on implementation of National Action Plan against terrorism.\n\nIn this connection, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has, on the advice of Prime Minister Imran Khan, dispatched a letter to the heads of parliamentary parties.\n\nHe said the consultation is part of the government\’s commitment to swift implementation of Pakistan\’s national strategy.\n\nForeign Minister said the strategy also envisages honouring of our responsibilities with regard to the UN restrictions and our obligations to international requirements about terror financing.\n\nIn his letter, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the meeting will highlight the objectives of National Action Plan, which also includes not allowing the use of our soil for terrorist activities against any other country.\n\nThe letter said National Action Plan, which envisages different steps for elimination of terrorism, is reflective of national consensus on the issue of terrorism. It says implementation of the plan is in the long-term interest of the nation.\n\nحکومت نے دہشت گردی کے خلاف قومی لائحہ عمل پرعملدرآمد کےلئے مشاورت کے سلسلے میں پارلیمانی جماعتوں کی کانفرنس اس ماہ کی 28 تاریخ کو طلب کرلی ہے۔\n\n اس سلسلے میں وزیرخارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی نے وزیراعظم عمران خان کی ہدایت پر آج تمام پارلیمانی جماعتوں کے سربراہان کو خطوط ارسال کردئیے ہیں۔\n\n خط میں کہاگیا ہے کہ اس کانفرنس کے انعقاد کا مقصد نیشنل ایکشن پلان کے مقاصد کو اجاگر کرنا ہے جس میں پاکستان کی سرزمین کو کسی بھی ملک کےخلاف دہشت گردی کےلئے استعمال کرنے کی اجازت نہ دینا شامل ہے۔\n\nخط میں کہا گیا ہے کہ نیشنل ایکشن پلان دہشت گردی کے معاملے پر قومی اتفاق رائے کا عکاس ہے خط میں کہاگیا ہے کہ ایکشن پلان پرعملدرآمد ملک کے وسیع مفاد میں ہے۔
