Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has spent 36 Billion rupees on Government schools infrastructure in the province and has provided: solar electricity to 5,773 schools, constructed boundary walls for 16,177 schools, built 14,158 additional classrooms, provided furniture for 15 lakh girls and teachers, gave access to clean water in 15,624 schools and appointed 40,000 school teachers on merit. According to a survey by Alif Ailaan on District Education 2017, 9 out of the 10 best districts in Primary Infrastructure Ranking were from KP.
