Kohat: Upon the direction of Deputy Commissioner Kohat Mr Khalid Ilyas, Assistant Commissioner Kohat Ms. Gul Bano carried out a massive operation against the most chronic temporary encroachment in the heart of Kohat City. It was unprecedented in KP for a female to take lead in such a daring Anti Encroachment operation in the southern volatile part of KP.

Besides various other obstacles, overcoming the resistance showed by Afghan refugees who had formed a mafia there was a great achievement. This was a landmark Anti Encroachment operation opening avenues for improving governance.
